Workshops

I run book-binding workshops where I take you through the basics of stab-binding a hard back book. I can organise these for craft clubs, societies or just a group of friends looking to try something different. 


You will learn;

1. How to cut and fold your pages, use of a bone folder and preperation of your book stack.
2. Constructing a hard back cover, use of end papers and handling of book cloth.
3. Preparing a book for stad-bind, use of linen cloth and binding techniques. 

Sessions last for approximately 3.5 hours with the aim that every participant will leave with a completed book. 



I charge £15 per participant (venue hire may be needed to added to this depending on the circumstances).
